  • How soon will my order ship?
    We ship original paintings within 3 business days by UPS. Collectors Edition prints are processed within 5 to 10 business days and fine art prints are processed within 2 to 7 business days. Although it will depend on your location, the shipping time will take approximately 5 to 7 business days within the U.S.
  • Where is my order?
    You will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number once your order has been shipped. All prints are shipped by USPS and originals are shipped by UPS. If you require faster shipping, please contact us at info@shawnmckinney.com prior to placing your order. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request and you’ll be billed according to the shipping upgrade.
  • Do you ship internationally?
    Yes, we do! We currently ship to the U.S., Canada, Europe, UK, Australia and New Zealand. If you live outside of these countries, please contact us at info@shawnmckinney.com prior to ordering for shipping costs. We may need to provide you with a custom order link to complete your purchase.
  • How will my original art purchase be shipped?
    Original art will ship flat in a sturdy, well-protected cardboard box. We ensure our pieces are shipped according to our very high standards. Expect your artwork to arrive with plenty of protective packaging to make its journey as safe as possible. If the art is oversized, it will arrive rolled in a dent-resistant tube. This method is especially safe for oversized works, and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival. The method of shipping is noted in the description of each original painting.
  • How will my art print be shipped?
    All prints will arrive flat in a dent-resistant box. To avoid dents or tearing, please frame your artwork as soon as possible. We highly recommend you enlist a local framer for cautious, professional framing of the larger artwork.
  • May I order a custom-sized print?
    Depending on the artwork, we may be able to print your preferred size as custom order. Please contact us at info@shawnmckinney.com with the preferred size(s) and we'll do our best to fulfill your request.
  • How much do you charge for art commissions?
    The pricing for commissioned art is determined by the complexity, size, and time commitment of the process. As much as I want to create custom artwork you’ll love, I will only accept the commission if I’m confident that your expectations and my skill set are in alignment. For instance, if you’re looking for a hyper-realistic landscape painting, unfortunately, I’m not your guy. Prior to beginning a commissioned painting, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance is due once the painting is complete and prior to shipping. I’ll gladly provide you with photos throughout the creative process.   • What should I do if my art arrives damaged?
    Step 1: Please contact us within seven (7) days of your merchandise delivery date. Take photos of damaged artwork and packaging. Please email these photos to info@shawnmckinney.com along with your order number, name and contact information. Step 2: Save original packaging! Step 3: We will contact you to discuss next steps.
  • What is your return policy?
    We are committed to ensuring the 100% satisfaction of our art collectors. If you have any questions prior to ordering, please contact us at info@shawnmckinney.com . All original paintings, commissions, and prints are final sale. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns unless your order arrives damaged, or you received the incorrect order. If your original artwork is damaged during shipping, please contact us within seven (7) after delivery at info@shawnmckinney.com with photos of the packaging and the damaged artwork. We’ll determine the next steps for a return, repair or replacement (if applicable). If your fine art print is incorrect or defective, please contact us within seven (7) after delivery. Please take photos of the defective print and the packaging and email the photos to info@shawnmckinney.com. We’ll gladly work with you to replace your purchase.
  • Are the original paintings sold framed?
    The original paintings are not sold framed. Many of the original paintings are on stretched canvas. The canvas is wrapped around a wooden frame otherwise known as Stretcher-bars. Given the depth and completely finished painted edges, the original paintings on stretched canvas can hang beautifully with no frame. If you choose to have your art professionally framed, oil paintings do not need to protective glass. Original paintings on wood panel board are quite flat and rigid. We do not sell them framed but they do require framing in order to be mounted.
  • Are the fine art prints paintings sold framed?
    All prints are sold without a frame. We recommend you have your prints framed professionally to protect the art.
  • What is a giclee print?
    Giclee prints are made with archival certified inks on museum quality acid-free fine paper using a high-resolution large format printer. These prints have a lifespan of over a hundred years and do not fade, crack, or turn yellow when properly cared for.
  • Do you offer prints on canvas?
    Absolutely! We can print on canvas as a custom order. Please contact us at info@shawnmckinney.com with the size(s) you’re interested in and we'll provide you with pricing.
